Refund Policy

1. Documentation & Verification

To ensure legal compliance, every rider must provide original documents for verification at the time of pick-up:

  • Document 1: Valid Driving License.
  • Document 2: Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Corporate ID, or Govt. ID.
  • Storage Policy: Your Document 2 will be securely deposited with us at the time of pick-up and returned upon successful drop-off of the vehicle.

2. No-Refund Clause (Documentation)

Failure to furnish the required original documents will lead to the immediate cancellation of the order. In such cases, no rent refund will be issued.

3. Accident & Damage Liability

In the event of an accident, mishandling, or carelessness resulting in damage to the two-wheeler:

  • Repair Costs: Appropriate charges will be calculated, and the rider is liable to pay the full repair amount.
  • Downtime Charges: The rider must pay the daily rental tariff for every day the bike is unavailable for rent while being repaired.

4. Insurance & Damage Thresholds

  • Minor Damages (Below Rs. 5,000): As per company policy, we do not claim insurance for damages below Rs. 5,000. The rider must bear the full cost of repair plus the daily tariff until the bike is ready for rent again.
  • Major Damages: The rider is liable to pay the full repair amount plus a 7-day rental tariff and any incidental charges. Once the insurance claim is settled, the recovered amount will be credited back to the rider’s account.

5. Total Loss & Theft

  • Total Loss: If the vehicle is written off, the rider is liable to pay the full cost of a new two-wheeler, including Registration and Insurance costs, plus a 7-day rental tariff.
  • Theft: In case of theft, the rider is immediately liable for the cost of a new vehicle, registration, insurance, and a 7-day tariff.
  • Claim Reimbursement: Following the settlement of the insurance claim, the settled amount will be credited to the rider's account.

6. Refund Processing (General)

For any other eligible refund scenarios (as determined by JoJo Travel management), approved amounts will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
